AquaBplus is a modular central dialysis water-treatment platform designed to provide the functions required for central water purification while allowing the system to be configured around individual clinic requirements.
Modular & expandableSingle-stage reverse osmosis can be expanded with B2 double-stage reverse osmosis, central ultrafiltration, loop heat disinfection and up to three dialysis-water distribution loops.
Operational safetyDouble-stage system design provides a high level of redundancy, with integrated emergency-operation capability.
Water efficiencyDepending on settings and inlet-water quality, up to 75% of inlet water can be used for dialysis treatments, with zero-rinse and recirculation functions supporting efficient operation.
ConnectivityIT communication to the Infrastructure Data Management System (IDMS) and a remote-control option are available.
System capability
- AquaBplus single-stage reverse osmosis supplies dialysis water to the distribution system according to ISO 23500-3 and serves as the interface and master system for additional accessories.
- Current AquaBplus versions are available from 500 to 3000 L/h.
- The 2023 product-group brochure states central water purification for up to 100 HD machines, based on dialysis-water consumption of 500 mL/min per device and 15 °C water temperature.
- The compact modular design supports installation where available plant-room space is limited.
